The Engineering of Paving Asphalt

After a brief conversation with the asphalt contractors, I realized that there is much more involved that just dumping a substantial amount of a stick, black substance over a flattened area and mashing it down with a steamroller! There is a plethora of engineering involved in this process; of which includes leveling, planning and pre-planning...and of course logistics.

I am surprised how simple overlays can make an appearance of a location look better ten-fold! Now that the paving is almost complete, we are getting ever so close to our opening date!
