We Have Power!

In this day and age, hotels have the responsibility and the requirement to provide maximum safety and assurance for their guests. One major provision is the ability to power certain lights during times of power failure.
We have all been through those times, whether it's a lightning storm, a snow storm or grid failure...a place without proper lighting can be dangerous!
The Hilton Garden Inn Baltimore/Arundel Mills is dedicated to protecting our guests and staff members by providing one of the most powerful and efficient generators on the market.
The Kohler 500 has the following specifications;
The generator set and its components are prototype-tested, factory-built, and production-tested.
The 60 Hz generator set offers a UL 2200 listing.
The generator set accepts rated load in one step.
The 60 Hz generator set complies with ISO 8528-5, Class G3, requirements for transient performance.
The 60 Hz generator set engine is certified by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to conform to Tier 2 nonroad emissions regulations.
Did anyone understand that?
When I read the specs, I was as lost as anyone that has never dealt with the mechanics of diesel powered generators. Because inquisitive minds desire to fulfill their unanswered questions, I found a few of our on-site contractors from HITT to find out more about our generator.
The bottom line? We have the best generator on the market!
