New Year's Eve

Do you know your plans for New Year's Eve? Hilton Garden Inn Baltimore Arundel Mills has the best location to be in. We have a shuttle to BWI aiport to take a short ride on the Light Rail into the Inner Harbor. No driving needed!

The first decade of the new millennium comes to a close with a bang in Baltimore. New Year's Eve in Baltimore means fireworks in the Inner Harbor, hopping bars all around town, and lots, lots more.

The Inner Harbor New Year's Eve fireworks are always spectacular. Brave the cold along the waterfront promenade or find a warmer spot to watch the fireworks at one of these events:

New Year's Eve Spectacular Fireworks - The party at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater starts at 9 p.m. with the music of All Mighty Senators. Fireworks explode over the harbor at midnight. The show is choreographed to music. Free.

Power Plant Live! - The nightclubs and restaurants of this entertainment complex, just a couple blocks from the Inner Harbor, offer a variety of New Year's Eve parties.

Maryland Science Center - Don't let bedtime interfere with celebrating the New Year...do it at noon. Ring in 2010 with party hats and noise makers, face painting, and dancing the day away to the sounds of popular kids band (and Grammy nominated) Milkshake. All activities are free with paid admission, and are free to members. Advance ticket purchase is recommended.

Port Discovery- If midnight is too late for your little ones, countdown early at Port Discovery's Noontime New Year. Toast the New Year at noon with milk and cookies and MPT's Bob Heck. Enjoy special cultural programs from Greece, Italy, Israel, China and Japan and a special performance by the Hilltop Hightops. Ages 2 and up.
